I was very privileged to have been able to support Helen & Douglas House by providing my long distance runner's workshop for some of their 2024 London Marathon fundraising runners last night. As I was shown around it became very clear how vital their dedicated support structure is.
If you are a registered Oxfordshire based charity and would like me to provide my runners workshop completely free of charge then email chris@back2best.com.
The Oxford Playhouse,11-12 Beaumont St, Oxford OX1 2LW – Panto Dates: Fri 24 Nov 2023 – Sun 7 Jan 2024
I am very proud to continue my work at the Oxford theatres by supporting the annual Oxford Playhouse Pantomime again this year, which will be my 14th consecutive Oxford panto.
I attend the rehearsals to help identify any areas of the show which may contribute to pain and discomfort for the performers, provide posture and self care advice to the cast and also provide treatment when necessary.
This is always one of the highlights of my year, and even though my children are now both adults we still attend the panto each year, and this year has the same very high standard and is absolutely fantastic!
Proud To Continue To Provide Professional Treatment To Visiting Theatre Shows.
Alongside my private clinic and proudly being a member of Oxford Utd's medical team, I am always delighted to be asked to provide professional treatment and advice to visiting theatre companies during their Oxford shows. I have recently supported the actors from Sister Act & SpongeBob The Musical - the show must go on!
Really Proud To Complete My 10th Season With Oxford United FC!
I have been working as the first team Soft Tissue Specialist for the past 10 years, and being a member of the Oxford Utd medical team is such an important part of my career and I am really looking forward to an exciting 2023/2024 season ahead!
Providing a teaching session to the team prior to the NSPCC runners arriving.
10th Anniversary!
I have just celebrated my 10th London Marathon managing the NSPCC Soft Tissue Team!
This is always one of the highlights of my year, helping a team of 30 therapists provide treatment to the heroic runners after they have completed the London Marathon raising money for such a wonderful charity.
I understand how financially difficult it is for many people, and so as a way of support I have frozen my prices again this year to allow my treatment & advice to be affordable.
I really appreciate my clients both old and new, and am happy to keep my price the same as it has been for the past 4 years now!
