Working On My 14th Oxford Pantomime – ‘Oh yes I am!’

The Oxford Playhouse,11-12 Beaumont St, Oxford OX1 2LW – Panto Dates: Fri 24 Nov 2023 – Sun 7 Jan 2024

I am very proud to continue my work at the Oxford theatres by supporting the annual Oxford Playhouse Pantomime again this year, which will be my 14th consecutive Oxford panto.

I attend the rehearsals to help identify any areas of the show which may contribute to pain and discomfort for the performers, provide posture and self care advice to the cast and also provide treatment when necessary.

This is always one of the highlights of my year, and even though my children are now both adults we still attend the panto each year, and this year has the same very high standard and is absolutely fantastic!

Regards Chris

Supporting Sister Act & SpongeBob The Musical!

Proud To Continue To Provide Professional Treatment To Visiting Theatre Shows.

Alongside my private clinic and proudly being a member of Oxford Utd's medical team, I am always delighted to be asked to provide professional treatment and advice to visiting theatre companies during their Oxford shows.  I have recently supported the actors from Sister Act & SpongeBob The Musical - the show must go on!

Footballers & Acrobats!

Footballers & Acrobats!

This week I have been quite busy alongside running my Headington practice working as a member of the Oxford United FC medical team ensuring that the first team players are supported in their fitness and wellbeing to aid both post match recovery & match preparation and also provide help through injury.

I have also been providing professional treatment to visiting professional acrobats performing at the Oxford Playhouse theatre where their show 'Humans' highlights the potential in both movement and strength of the human body and boy wasn't is absolutely breathe taking and I could see why professional acrobats like Piri (in the photo) needed some professional soft tissue treatment to help him perform to the 100% physical capacity required for his performance which included supporting 2 people on his shoulders!
